Who is enrolled in the Elite Enhanced Subscription Plan?
All customers who purchase or renew a SOLIDWORKS license through MECAD are automatically enrolled in the Elite Enhanced Subscription Plan – no additional steps required. To confirm your current plan status or initiate an upgrade, please complete the contact form or call 012 645 4300.
How do I redeem my live-training credits?
Elite subscribers receive up to R 3 000 credit per subscription, each 12-month cycle. To book:
1. Complete the contact form below
2. We’ll apply one credit per course booked. Multiple Elite Enhanced Subscription credits cannot be combined for a single booking. A confirmation invoice will be sent.
Credits expire 12 months from your licence purchase or renewal date and cannot be carried over.
When and how can I schedule my Ask-an-Expert session?
Elite subscribers get one two-hour private session per subscription year. To schedule:
Visit the Ask-An-Expert page and fill out the form.
MECAD will contact you to set up your 2-hour session.
You will receive a confirmation email with the meeting link and pre-session instructions.
*Remember: Session valid for subscription period and cannot be transferred to next subscription period.
What if I don’t use my Ask-an-Expert hours?
Unused sessions are forfeited after your subscription anniversary. To maximise value, plan early – especially around major projects. Additional sessions may be purchased at your Elite discount rate; fill out the contact us form on the Ask-an-Expert page.
How do project discounts and SLA savings apply?
Elite subscribers enjoy:
20% off standard consulting rates (up to 30 hours per company)
OR10% off new yearly SLA contracts per company

How do I claim my recruitment voucher?
Receive recruitment support with 3% discount on placement fees via MC Technology Staffing for qualified hires. To claim:
1. Complete the contact form
2. We’ll source candidates and invoice at the reduced rate upon placement.
Voucher valid for roles with minimum CTC of R 100 000 while your Elite subscription is active.
